This event is a fundraiser for the Outer Banks Bicycle & Pedestrian Safety Coalition, a local 501 (c)(3) organization helping facilitate the education and awareness of practical bicycle and pedestrian safety to drivers, pedestrians, cyclists and all those who live or visit the Outer Banks of North Carolina in a positive and proactive manner.

Celebrate summer with Kitty Hawk Kites and Food Lion by supporting the Outer Banks Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Coalition at the 18th Annual OBX Watermelon Festival on Thursday, August 1st from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM at Kitty Hawk Kites in Nags Head.

OBX Watermelon Festival is free for guests to attend; however, the purchase of tickets is required to play and eat! Compete in classic competitions to win from a selection of awesome prizes.
